Starbucks to roll out Fizzio drinks this summer

Starbucks Corporation recently announced plans to roll out its new Fizzio handcrafted sodas to 3,000 units across the U.S. and Asia for Summer 2014.

The new beverage line is intended to build traffic during the key afternoon ‘day part’ hours.

Starbucks President and Chief Executive, Howard Schultz described the drinks as “all natural, preservative-free alternatives to sugar-filled sodas with a theatre of a custom handcrafted beverage.”  This range is very much in line with the ‘Keeping it Real’ Consumer Lifestyle Trend and more specifically the ‘Celebrating Tradition’ Sub-Trend.
